Rev. Richard Taylor, the Director of Victory Outreach UK, is young and charismatic. He has boundless energy and travels the world as an author, television and radio presenter and pastor.

He is also the founder of the Gateway Foundation - a charity that mentors and assists ex-offenders and addicts into education and training, leading to homes, jobs and fulfilling, useful lives.

His enthusiasm is infectious, his positivity is unrivalled - he has a down-to-earth, no nonsense approach that gets the job done, whilst endearing him to everyone around him.

So you’d probably be surprised to learn that Richard used to be a resident of Victory Outreach UK. Not as a director - but straight from prison, addicted, hurting and looking as though his life had no purpose or potential.

When Dinah and Dave took him in, he began his journey to where he is today. He studied theology, began to preach at local churches, and then became associate pastor of one of the UKs largest growing churches.

His BBC television series ‘To Catch a Thief’ attracted huge audiences - and his autobiography of the same name has been distributed to every prisoner in the UK...totalling nearly 100,000 copies.

He is a champion amongst the lost, the imprisoned and the addicted. He is the proof of the incredible transformational changes that can be achieved - and living testament to the work of Victory Outreach.

He is accepted by dignitaries and criminals alike. He has earned the respect of prisoners - is applauded in prisons - whilst also having the attention of politicians, councillors and peers of the realm.
